The fighter was always my favorite b/c of his strength. He is a must have on any team.

Sorry, but I've gotta go with B.Belt. Those things 0wn the temple of fiends at the end.

The only bad thing is starting off with them...but after that...just whoooosh!

Well I haven't played the game, but from what I've seen and heard from it, even though they're pretty weak, I like the White Mages the best ^_^

I've tried going through the game with four white mages once. It was pretty hard. Didn't pass the second town! :'(

I saw FF1 at a gamestop for $30. Now I think that's just a bit overpriced for a game that old.

This is a tough choice...
Fighters are the best survivors, yes you DO have to have them in any party.
Blackbelts are pretty powerful, plus you almost never have to buy them anything, save some $$$ use a Blackbelt! ::)

Black mages just look cool, plus they have awesome spells and if you ever read 8 bit theater he just rules! Downfall.. they die a lot...
I have to vote for the Red mage though, the most balanced character in the game, a little bit of everything, fighting skills, white magic, black magic 8-)
